One of our members came and brought us each a gift certificate to eat out. Little acts of kindness like that sure help the pastor to know he matters. Have you appreciated your pastor lately? He works hard on hearing from God as to what to preach. He cares about you and your family. Have you told him, "Thank you?" Let him know Sunday that you appreciate all he does. He needs to hear it.
I would love to tell him that I appreciate the sympathic ear, the caring voice and attentive manor with which he listened to my problems and concerns. I would love to tell him thank you for all of the opportunities we had for fellowship and laughs. I would love to tell him this and more, but the BUM moved away! On second thought, I guess I just did. We love you and miss you and your family. You are still a Bum but a special Bum to me!
